Greetings from the Mexico Team!
They have made it halfway through their trip and have experienced much already. The first days of travel passed quickly, as the team stopped in Grant’s Pass for the first night and Gleanings for the Hungry for the second. Day 3 saw a smooth border crossing into Mexico and arrival at the YWAM base.
Since arriving in Mexico, the team has been working hard on building the house. They have constructed the walls and roof, installed windows, and started painting. Amidst all the hard work, they have had a lot of fun bonding and playing soccer with some of the local kids. The team also had the opportunity to do an outreach, handing out 55 food kits and blankets, and to attend a church service. The weather has been nice and sunny and they have enjoyed many wonderful meals, including a lunch provided by the family for whom they are building the house. There has also been ample time to bond as a team through games, worship, sharing, and prayer.
They ask for prayer for the following:
- health (many have sun burns)
- team unity
- continued safety on and off the job site
Thank you for your prayers!
