I served in the toddler room for the past 3 years. One thing that I really liked about this time was how I could see the children growing up and developing. When they were dropped off for the first time, many of them could hardly speak, some were very shy, and still others didn’t want to stay without a parent. Over time, these same children became chatty, playful kids who were enjoying their time in the toddler room, always happy to come back week after week.
I’m so thankful for all the volunteers we’ve had that makes it possible to schedule supervision for the toddler room every week. From a parent’s perspective, it’s great to be able to leave our kids in the hands of trusting people. This gives us the opportunity to enjoy the service with some peace and quiet, allowing us to really focus on God’s message.
It is great that King Road Church has a safe place for our children, and I’m thankful for the time I had serving in this ministry area!
PS: A Note of Thanks!
On behalf of our congregation, I want to wish Daniele and her family all the best as they relocate to a new home. May God bless you, and may you find a great toddler room in your new location.
