“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
What does John 1:14 have to do with an updated website? Read on…
Think of the many ways in which we communicate. We speak. We read. We listen for tone. We think about context. Our past experiences serve as filters. We struggle in different languages. Communication is difficult. So, when God needed to get His saving message to humanity, He sent his Son. I truly wish that ALL of our communication could be done face-to-face, but that just isn’t reasonable.
To that end, we work hard at communicating well with our congregation in a variety of methods. One of those is our updated website. We trust that you will find it easy to navigate, easy to read on any device, and that you will check it often. We’ve updated the calendar features making it easier to stay informed of what is happening. We will continue to post regular news stories and videos. Please do your part to stay in touch with what God is doing at King Road.
We’d love to hear from you in regard to any feedback. Please send your thoughts to the church office.
And please join me in saying thanks, in particular, to Sammy Unger for her work in bringing about the website renovations.
See you in church!
